The Work of Becoming Who You Are

Dr. RB works with adults who are tired of living life as usual, who sense something is off even when life looks successful from the outside. His clients come from every background and identity, united by one thing: readiness to stop performing and start coming home to who they actually are.

He also partners with immigration attorneys across South Florida on psychological evaluations and hosts the Let's Reunite YouTube Channel.

Dr. Robert B. Hernández, Psy.D., is a licensed psychologist and Jungian-oriented psychotherapist in Miami, Florida, working with clients in person and online across Florida, New York, and PSYPACT states, in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

He holds a doctorate from Albizu University, trained with the Inter-Regional Association of Jungian Analysts, and has practiced privately since 2005. His approach is rooted in Jungian Analysis: he views symptoms not as problems to eliminate, but as messages from the unconscious pointing toward deeper self-knowledge, integrated with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy so insight becomes real, lived change.

The Journey of Individuation

I work with adults who are tired of living life as usual and pretending to be someone they are not. You may look successful and capable from the outside, yet carry a quiet sense that something is off.

Carl Jung called this the journey of individuation: becoming your true self rather than who the world asked you to perform. I do not see you as broken—I see you as someone ready to come home.

Who I Work With

Standing at a Threshold

Breaking Repeating Cycles

Living Authentically

Navigating divorce, career shifts, personal loss, or a midlife reckoning where old ways no longer fit.

Addressing persistent anxiety, depression, or relationship habits that feel impossible to break alone.

Reconnecting with your intuitive self and aligning your daily life with your deepest core values.

Depth Meets Direction

I practice Jungian Analysis as my primary framework. I view symptoms symbolically—as messages from your unconscious rather than problems to be silenced. Your dreams and repeating patterns are pointing somewhere.

I also integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for practical, concrete change. Depth without direction drifts; direction without depth does not last. You need both.
